The Navalito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Ignacio Grove should have stopped the shot. In the 12thth minute of the game Walmir Breckenfeld who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Navalito's Juan Ignacio Grove was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Navalito's goal looked a bit too open when Walmir Breckenfeld came free, but Juan Ignacio Grove reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Ignacio Grove made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Feyzullay Taşkıner sent off a good shot on target. Juan Ignacio Grove took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmir Breckenfeld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mitchel Dijkstra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Buendia in the 18th minute of play. Juan Ignacio Grove showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmir Breckenfeld in the 19th minute of the match. Navalito's Virgilio Buendia got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Young Benefica booed when Navalito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfino Vos de Vos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute Walmir Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Ignacio Grove saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Ignacio Grove showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmir Breckenfeld in the 29th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgilio Buendia in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mitchel Dijkstra saved Young Benefica from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Walmir Breckenfeld stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Navalito's Juan Ignacio Grove played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feyzullay Taşkıner in the 51st minute of play. Mitchel Dijkstra made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Romeo Jurado sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 56 minutes, Virgilio Buendia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Navalito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgilio Buendia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romeo Jurado in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mitchel Dijkstra, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Young Benefica's Walmir Breckenfeld got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Navalito's Virgilio Buendia in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Young Benefica's goalie prevented a goal. 70 minutes into the game, Yuri Paauwe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Juan Ignacio Grove was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pedro Tomás Macaya hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Mitchel Dijkstra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romeo Jurado in the 78th minute. In the 81st minute Walmir Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Ignacio Grove saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Ignacio Grove showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmir Breckenfeld, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute.
