Kuno Friedrich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After having played for 8 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuno Friedrich having to interfere. After 13 minutes, Sven Krakouer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the Gräskungarnas FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute, Sven Krakouer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bengt Kolberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Barbăroșie in the 19th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 minutes of play, Gräskungarnas FF's Björn Holm made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugen Barbăroșie got free with Tommy Kahn in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Frank Sachs hit a great ball. After 26 minutes, Eugen Barbăroșie made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Germany's Tommy Kahn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kuno Friedrich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 35th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Germany's Sven Krakouer got a free kick in the 36th minute. Sven Krakouer lost his temper 38 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 37 minutes into the game, one of Germany:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Eugen Barbăroșie did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Tommy Kahn 45 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albin Holweck was the one to do the kick off. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Ånger in the 63rd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Roy Ånger notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 68 minutes into the game, Linus Schwerner threw the ball into play from the sideline. Gräskungarnas FF's Inge Abelsson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugen Barbăroșie in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Barbăroșie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugen Barbăroșie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Gräskungarnas FF's Eugen Barbăroșie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. In the 92nd minute Eugen Barbăroșie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 minutes of play, Gräskungarnas FF's Björn Holm made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gräskungarnas FF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
