Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Jorrin Briones might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over George Forsyth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorrin Briones ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorrin Briones in the 71st minute of play forced CD Municipal's goalkeeper George Forsyth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ryota Miyagi came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the CD Municipal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ryota Miyagi couldn't finish the play. Calixto Inchaurdi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oalo Dean's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Peru's Calixto Inchaurdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oalo Dean in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute of the match, Oalo Dean tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Calixto Inchaurdi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 90th minute, Constantino Dean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calixto Inchaurdi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oalo Dean, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Bard Bom kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Martino Armona, 95 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
