Edward Zywiec blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ilija Skugor having to make a save. Ilija Skugor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Townsend's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 19th match minute, Croatia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvije Santek to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 20 in the game by Sebastian Townsend from a close distance when the talented Ilija Skugor managed to make a qualified save. Croatia's players were relieved. 21 minutes into the game, Kazemir Panfilov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Townsend's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ilija Skugor was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. In the 44th minute, Sebastian Townsend made a precise shot to the right of Ilija Skugor. Croatia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0.

The wind increased when Toni Mauzer made the kick off in the second half. In the 82nd match minute, Croatia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvije Santek to maneuver through the defense. Ilija Skugor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Townsend went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Toni Mauzer hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the game, ШЮКРЮ ЖАННAP ТАХМАЗ's Sebastian Townsend nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ilija Skugor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0.
