Tor-Magnus Klaussen struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Vavrinec Holub didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ku Kost IL. Hans-Erik Isdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Jilek in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Ku Kost IL's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Rezek came free, but Hans-Erik Isdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik Jilek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Hans-Erik Isdal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ku Kost IL's zone, Denis Dostal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans-Erik Isdal came out of the goal and Denis Dostal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kvetoslav Janku to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Jilek in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hans-Erik Isdal saved Ku Kost IL from getting behind. In the 30th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Rezek to maneuver through the defense. Valdemar Turecek kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johannes Kanestrøm in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vavrinec Holub saved Czech Republic from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Rusil in the 38th minute of play forced Ku Kost IL's goalkeeper Hans-Erik Isdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub got control of the ball when Johannes Kanestrøm tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kjetil Christoffersen, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 46th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svatopluk Capek to maneuver through the defense. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Johannes Kanestrøm to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Denis Dostal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Czech Republic's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Dostal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hans-Erik Isdal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Ku Kost IL's Hans-Erik Isdal got control of the ball when Alan Rezek tried to sneak it across the goal line. Czech Republic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ku Kost IL the free kick. Erik Jilek kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Kanestrøm, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 80th minute, Valdemar Turecek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ku Kost IL's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Erik Jilek scored to the left of an out of position Hans-Erik Isdal, making the score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Czech Republic's zone, Mikkel Sikveland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal and Mikkel Sikveland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
