In the 16th minute, John Bratt made a precise shot to the right of Hampus Gallberg. Mansfield Town FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor Olofsson in the 19th minute of play forced Kattvik kings's goalkeeper Alvar Arvidsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Mansfield Town FC defense, John Bratt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hampus Gallberg. The Mansfield Town FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hampus Gallberg should have stopped the shot. Hampus Gallberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şenel Zeval, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Hampus Gallberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jürgen Trittin in the 26th minute of the match. Alvar Arvidsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximilian Seger in the 27th minute of play. Şenel Zeval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Hampus Gallberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Kattvik kings booed when Mansfield Town FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximilian Seger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mansfield Town FC's Hampus Gallberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şenel Zeval in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor Olofsson in the 38th minute of play forced Kattvik kings's goalkeeper Alvar Arvidsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hampus Gallberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jürgen Trittin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 44 played minutes Mansfield Town FC got a freekick which was hit by Luigi Elin. Hampus Gallberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Bratt in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Kattvik kings were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andreas Sandell made a kick off. In the 57th match minute, Mansfield Town FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Nilsson to maneuver through the defense. Alvar Arvidsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tor Olofsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 played minutes Mansfield Town FC got a freekick which was hit by Sven Hybbert. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Hampus Gallberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şenel Zeval got free with Hampus Gallberg in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 70 minutes Mansfield Town FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Şenel Zeval who took care of the corner kick. Mansfield Town FC's Michael Gudmundsson was substituted for Tor Olofsson. Mansfield Town FC made a substitution. Martin Wennerquist replaced Ingvar Häger. In the 82nd minute Reine Kinnman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hampus Gallberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvar Arvidsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Gudmundsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. John Bratt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hampus Gallberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The Mansfield Town FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kattvik kings's performance. The match ended with a win for Kattvik kings.
