Cai Yuan Yuan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brazilio Butt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Florin Dragușin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pankracy Zajonc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Nordlander in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's goal looked a bit too open when Ulf Nordlander came free, but Pankracy Zajonc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brazilio Butt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cai Yuan Yuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Jörgen Beckman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cai Yuan Yuan got free with Brazilio Butt in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pankracy Zajonc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Nordlander in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Brazilio Butt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silviu Novac to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes DIF LEEDS BK got a freekick which was hit by Ni Kun Jian. After 54 played minutes, MZ Fénix's Vygantas Petrošius shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Brazilio Butt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MZ Fénix reached it. In the 64th minute, Cai Yuan Yuan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MZ Fénix fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Brazilio Butt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's Cai Yuan Yuan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brazilio Butt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. MZ Fénix's Vladimiro Granja was substituted for Alexandre Valido. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by DIF LEEDS BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
