The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kent Näver didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Mutumba went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Kent Näver made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emmanuel Dennis in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sören Gregersson in the 10th minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sören Gregersson in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's Emmanuel Dennis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kent Näver narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Sören Gregersson came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Ekrot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sören Gregersson's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. After 16 played minutes INIXET BK got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Söderquist. INIXET BK's Kent Näver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Mutumba in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Vykans Vikingar's Hugo Eden got a free kick in the 21st minute. INIXET BK's Kent Näver proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save INIXET BK from getting a goal against them. Kent Näver made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Mutumba in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Martin Mutumba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kent Näver was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When INIXET BK's Sören Gregersson in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vykans Vikingar's goalie prevented a goal. In the 36th minute Sören Gregersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 played minutes INIXET BK got a freekick which was hit by Mikael Juhlin. Kent Näver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Mutumba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kent Näver showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Mutumba in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Mutumba made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Vykans Vikingar's Jose Indalecio got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute Martin Mutumba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Näver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Sören Gregersson came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peder Alström in the 60th minute of play. Hans Wallin kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Christoffer Johansson replaced Elliott Bogren. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kent Näver prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 2-1 became the score in the 65th minute when Peder Alström elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Pål Svanberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vykans Vikingar's Börje Stål was substituted for Emmanuel Dennis. In the 71st match minute, INIXET BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pål Svanberg to maneuver through the defense. Kent Näver stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Börje Stål's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Martin Mutumba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 78 played minutes INIXET BK got a freekick which was hit by Sören Gregersson. In the 79th match minute, INIXET BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sören Gregersson to maneuver through the defense. INIXET BK's Kent Näver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Mutumba in the 81st minute of play. Kent Näver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Mutumba, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 92nd minute, Börje Stål left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vykans Vikingar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Vykans Vikingar were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
