Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Golden Lions FC from getting a goal against them. Bajenland's Emil Hägg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Nyström in the 7th minute of play. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bajenland's goalkeeper Emil Hägg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ronny Örtendal kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Anders Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Croti, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emil Hägg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th minute Inge Boll managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. The audience was convinced that Loco Durazno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Hägg was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 41st minute, Riki Čapo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist got control of the ball when Jonathan Lindsten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Golden Lions FC's Arne Tönnberg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ronny Örtendal, made in the 45th minute of the game. After having played for 46 minutes, Loco Durazno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Lions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Loco Durazno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adriano Croti was the one to do the kick off. If Loco Durazno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Bajenland getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Gottfrid Sandberg hit a great ball. After 57 played minutes Bajenland got a freekick which was hit by Kennedy Bryngelsson. Golden Lions FC were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Bajenland's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arne Tönnberg took the corner. In the 68th minute, Mats Nyström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Golden Lions FC's Cosme Larpe was substituted for Georg Termander. Bajenland made a substitution. Tony Lindell replaced Inge Boll. Golden Lions FC's Burç Tokhan was substituted for Loco Durazno. Bajenland made a substitution. Wictor Käller replaced Gottfrid Sandberg. Burç Tokhan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Emil Hägg made a huge save. Emil Hägg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burç Tokhan in the 76th minute of the match. Mats Nyström's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Emil Hägg firmly grabbed it by the left post. Adriano Croti scored 1-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anders Lundqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute Burç Tokhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Hägg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Han Jun Ping got a throw-in 93 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Adriano Croti. Burç Tokhan took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emil Hägg. Emil Hägg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The Golden Lions FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Golden Lions FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
