The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, SSC Ambrosini's Henrik Möllgren got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 5 minutes into the match, SSC Ambrosini's goal looked a bit too open when Şenel Zeval came free, but Aaron Glanselius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, Henrik Möllgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alvar Arvidsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of SSC Ambrosini booed when Kattvik kings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reine Kinnman didn't get a good kick on the ball. SSC Ambrosini's Aaron Glanselius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jürgen Trittin in the 11th minute of play. Alvar Arvidsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Möllgren in the 15th minute of the match. The throw-in from Casper Hultin in the 19th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SSC Ambrosini's Kristian Wiberg. Alvar Arvidsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Möllgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 minutes of play, SSC Ambrosini's Henrik Möllgren made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alvar Arvidsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 29 minutes into the match, SSC Ambrosini's goal looked a bit too open when Jürgen Trittin came free, but Aaron Glanselius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kattvik kings's goalkeeper Alvar Arvidsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute SSC Ambrosini were awarded a corner. Jan Malm went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Christer Lundin to score against Alvar Arvidsson in Kattvik kings's goal. 1-3 after 35 minutes. In the 37th minute, Reine Kinnman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute Henrik Möllgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvar Arvidsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Glanselius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jürgen Trittin in the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Henrik Möllgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SSC Ambrosini fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henrik Möllgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alvar Arvidsson was a little too slow when Henrik Möllgren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 1-5. In the 57th minute Şenel Zeval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Glanselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrik Möllgren in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alvar Arvidsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aaron Glanselius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Bratt, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Kattvik kings's Alvar Arvidsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Möllgren in the 63rd minute of play. Long Zhan Quan kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Christer Lundin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Kattvik kings's zone, Henrik Möllgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvar Arvidsson came out of the goal and Henrik Möllgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aaron Glanselius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şenel Zeval in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, SSC Ambrosini's Henrik Möllgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alvar Arvidsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. SSC Ambrosini's Magnus Fribäck was substituted for Christer Lundin. 88 minutes into the match, SSC Ambrosini's Henrik Möllgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvar Arvidsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th minute of the match SSC Ambrosini got a corner. Kattvik kings's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jan Malm ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Henrik Möllgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Kattvik kings getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Casper Hultin hit a great ball. The supporters of SSC Ambrosini booed when Kattvik kings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jürgen Trittin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Henrik Möllgren made a precise shot to the right of Alvar Arvidsson. Kattvik kings's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-8.
