The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tage Glanselius during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tage Glanselius hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Mutumba got free with Emil Hägg in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jose Indalecio struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Emil Hägg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vykans Vikingar. The audience was convinced that Jose Indalecio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Hägg was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Indalecio in the 14th minute of play forced Bajenland's goalkeeper Emil Hägg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th match minute, Bajenland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronny Örtendal to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Eden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Emil Hägg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emmanuel Dennis came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emil Hägg could save by the left post. Vykans Vikingar's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fernan Berart in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Walter Jean-Baptiste kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes, Vykans Vikingar's Fernan Berart shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emil Hägg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vykans Vikingar reached it. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Croti in the 33rd minute of play. Martin Mutumba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Emil Hägg made a huge save. The audience cheered when Martin Mutumba's long shot passed Emil Hägg's right side. It was 1-0, 36 minutes into the match. Emil Hägg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Indalecio in the 41st minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Vykans Vikingar's Emil Hägg threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alessandro Micucci, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 45thth minute of the game Riki Čapo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Vykans Vikingar getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Hugo Eden hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jose Indalecio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Bajenland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kennedy Bryngelsson to maneuver through the defense. Fernan Berart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute, Jonathan Lindsten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bajenland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Emil Hägg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emmanuel Dennis in the 58th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's Emmanuel Dennis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emil Hägg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vykans Vikingar's Jose Indalecio got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jose Indalecio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Hägg having to interfere. Emil Hägg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Indalecio in the 85th minute of play. Emil Hägg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Indalecio in the 87th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Jose Indalecio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vykans Vikingar's supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Indalecio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Hägg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christoffer Johansson lost his temper 89 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vykans Vikingar! Marcus Ekrot went to the wrong direction when Adriano Croti was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal.
