Babür Mertoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Gino Tonić made a huge save. If Babür Mertoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gino Tonić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enric Patiño in the 23rd minute of play. With a little luck, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Gino Tonić got control of the ball when Babür Mertoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Zé Carlos Vaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celso Tavera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Celso Tavera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vidmantas Ubartas, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
