Gustaf Eklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ola Rydberg in the 3rd minute of play. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arye Suryoye's goalkeeper Kenneth Käcker, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Björn Lindmark made in the 10th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sweden's Sven-Oskar Carlsson. Sebastian Käller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Kenneth Käcker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute Henrik Berg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Käcker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Käller's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kenneth Käcker was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Kenneth Käcker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Käller, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Rickard Vibjörnsson thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Kenneth Käcker, a very annoying self made goal in the 39th minute which led to 0-3. In the 42nd minute, Sebastian Käller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kenneth Käcker was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ola Rydberg was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Ola Rydberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaf Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arye Suryoye's Kenneth Ahlerot managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Douglas Västberg in the 58 minute of the game. After having played for 60 minutes, Ola Rydberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arye Suryoye's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ola Rydberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The throw-in from Kenneth Ahlerot in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sweden's Douglas Västberg. In the 64th minute Sebastian Käller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Käcker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Sebastian Käller put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Kenneth Käcker. If Ola Rydberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gustaf Eklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ola Rydberg in the 72nd minute of play. Kenneth Käcker didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Käller went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Arye Suryoye made a substitution. Valdemar Beckeman replaced Ola Rydberg. Sweden made a substitution. Ivar Lindqvist replaced Einar Hedström. 82 minutes into the match, Jörgen Levander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kenneth Käcker. Arye Suryoye's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jörgen Levander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Kenneth Käcker had great luck who in the 87thth minute grab hold of the ball when Jörgen Levander from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Kenneth Käcker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredric Hybbert in the 91st minute of play. Sweden's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
