Vitório Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Czornomaz in the 11th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Czornomaz in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vitório Goiano saved FC Barcelona from getting behind. A hard shot 22 in the game by Safet Jovanović from a close distance when the talented Vitório Goiano managed to make a qualified save. FC Barcelona's players were relieved. A collision led to FC Barcelona getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Mario Vinciguerra hit a great ball. FC Barcelona's Vitório Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Czornomaz in the 27th minute of play. After 29 played minutes CACYFA got a freekick which was hit by Safet Jovanović. When Safet Jovanović came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the CACYFA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Safet Jovanović couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute Safet Jovanović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitório Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Barcelona's Vitório Goiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save FC Barcelona from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Adolfo Jorrin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vitório Goiano. That made the score 2-0 in the 40 minute of play. Adrian Czornomaz did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Vitório Goiano 44 minutes into the match. In the 47thth minute of the game Adrian Czornomaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Barcelona's Vitório Goiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ignacio Barbosa to strike the kick off in the second half. When Safet Jovanović got free in front of the goal in the 51st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Vitório Goiano was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. FC Barcelona's Vitório Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Safet Jovanović in the 57th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Safet Jovanović in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vitório Goiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd minute of the match CACYFA got a corner. FC Barcelona's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Romeo Sanduru ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Emil Tomasson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Barcelona's Vitório Goiano did a great save. Vitório Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Safet Jovanović in the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Czornomaz in the 67th minute of play forced FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Vitório Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Safet Jovanović came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the CACYFA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Safet Jovanović couldn't finish the play. CACYFA's Gaspar Dunixi was substituted for Safet Jovanović. CACYFA's Alfredo Emeterio was substituted for Adrian Czornomaz. Vitório Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Dunixi in the 73rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Emil Tomasson managed to get in a good position for a shot. CACYFA's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Tomasson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vitório Goiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ignacio Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute of the match Romeo Sanduru shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vitório Goiano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. FC Barcelona's Vitório Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Chico in the 89th minute of play. Gaspar Dunixi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitório Goiano having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Alfredo Emeterio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vitório Goiano was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Severino de Godoi hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the CACYFA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
