After a rather tough play, Jagiellonia Denver's 蔡伟洲 got a free kick in the 14th minute. Eric Gary showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Czornomaz in the 18th minute of the match. Eric Gary made an important save on a dangerous shot by Safet Jovanović in the 23rd minute. Michal Majdoch took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luis Quirce. Luis Quirce dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of CACYFA booed when Jagiellonia Denver was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viorel Olaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eric Gary took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Czornomaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Jagiellonia Denver's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Czornomaz came free, but Eric Gary reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Quirce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Majdoch in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Czornomaz in the 35th minute of play forced Jagiellonia Denver's goalkeeper Eric Gary to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eric Gary took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Czornomaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Quirce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michal Majdoch's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 40thth minute of the game Per-Olof Åkesson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CACYFA's Luis Quirce was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eric Gary made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Czornomaz in the 41st minute of play.

After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Michal Majdoch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jagiellonia Denver's supporters rose to their feet, but Michal Majdoch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Quirce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Michal Majdoch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the match, Jagiellonia Denver's 蔡伟洲 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luis Quirce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as 蔡伟洲 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luis Quirce. That made the score 0-2 in the 58 minute of play. Luis Quirce made an important save on a dangerous shot by 蔡伟洲 in the 61st minute. Eric Gary showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Czornomaz in the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Jagiellonia Denver's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Czornomaz came free, but Eric Gary reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, CACYFA's Luis Quirce got control of the ball when 蔡伟洲 tried to sneak it across the goal line. CACYFA's Adrian Czornomaz managed to work through Jagiellonia Denver's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Adrian Czornomaz dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. CACYFA's Angelino Chico was substituted for Adolfo Jorrin. Jagiellonia Denver's 林邦瑜 was substituted for Viorel Olaru. CACYFA made a substitution. Alfredo Emeterio replaced Adrian Czornomaz. Luis Quirce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cacá Čačak, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 87th minute, Alfredo Emeterio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 88 played minutes CACYFA got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Jerico. Luis Quirce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Majdoch in the 90th minute of the match. Eric Gary made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Emeterio in the 93rd minute of play. CACYFA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Romeo Sanduru in the 94th minute. The corner led CACYFA's Romeo Sanduru to fire away a dangerous shot which Eric Gary despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The CACYFA manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Jagiellonia Denver to win.
