After a defensive mix-up in S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's zone, Marciano Hendrickx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esen Sanal came out of the goal and Marciano Hendrickx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marciano Hendrickx struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Esen Sanal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beek City. In the 32nd minute, one of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for S.E.R. Caxias do Sul. Marciano Hendrickx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Esen Sanal made a huge save. 40 minutes into the match, Beek City's goal looked a bit too open when Krisztián Véber came free, but Arian Beqaj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The goalkeeper, Esen Sanal, was totally fooled by Beek City's Josef Valkenaers, who 44 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Beek City's Arian Beqaj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho de Senna in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes into the match, Beek City's goal looked a bit too open when Krisztián Véber came free, but Arian Beqaj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 54 minutes, Krisztián Véber made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Beek City's Arian Beqaj tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 60th minute Marciano Hendrickx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esen Sanal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 62 minutes S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benny Stolle was slow to take the kick. During this time Beek City's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Jean-Louis Ouaddou managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 71st minute, Breno Vergílio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arian Beqaj was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Gláuber Tande made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Beek City's Miroslaw Hetman. In the 79th minute, Tarcisio Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Marciano Hendrickx's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esen Sanal was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Arian Beqaj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krisztián Véber in the 86th minute of play. Breno Vergílio hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. S.E.R. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucio Siekkötter got free with Arian Beqaj in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Esen Sanal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Hendrickx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
