Yu Ang Chuan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zacarias Serapio went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 18th match minute, De tulpen SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harm van Zomeren to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zacarias Serapio in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yu Ang Chuan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zacarias Serapio in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yu Ang Chuan saved De tulpen SC from getting behind. When De tulpen SC's Timoteo Manilan in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Copérnico F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Yu Ang Chuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Kinsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute of the match Copérnico F.C. got a corner. De tulpen SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arnulfo Hurko ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Copérnico F.C.'s Manuel Jatsu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Godofredo Leyton put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Amadeo Rainerio. Amadeo Rainerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harm van Zomeren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amadeo Rainerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Leyton in the 42nd minute of play. Copérnico F.C.'s Amadeo Rainerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Leyton in the 43rd minute of play. When Luc Hillen fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De tulpen SC's protests and gave Luc Hillen a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, De tulpen SC's Luc Hillen got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Godofredo Leyton was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of De tulpen SC booed when Copérnico F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Iigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amadeo Rainerio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timoteo Manilan's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute of the match De tulpen SC got a corner. De tulpen SC's Reinier Gerseke was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Amadeo Rainerio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. De tulpen SC's Yu Ang Chuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Serapio in the 62nd minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Manuel Jatsu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amadeo Rainerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Manilan, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 82nd minute Zacarias Serapio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yu Ang Chuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
