Rik Stekelenburg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gora Dam went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 19 minutes into the match, Ruitenberg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gora Dam came free, but Rik Stekelenburg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Ruitenberg FC defense, Du Chang Sen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rik Stekelenburg. The Ruitenberg FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rik Stekelenburg should have stopped the shot. After 28 minutes Ruitenberg FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Qin Bing Yin who took care of the corner kick. Rik Stekelenburg was a little too slow when Anselmo Firmin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 5-0. Du Chang Sen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Rik Stekelenburg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 32 minutes into the game, Du Chang Sen lined in a short shot 6-0 behind a frustrated Rik Stekelenburg. The attack was good, but when Gora Dam in the 46th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 10-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Du Chang Sen to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Du Chang Sen in the 56th minute of play forced Ruitenberg FC's goalkeeper Rik Stekelenburg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Gora Dam left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Du Chang Sen took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rik Stekelenburg. Rik Stekelenburg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 17-0.
