An unexpectedly hard shot by Monroe Munoz in the 5th minute of play forced Santhiagos Feli Club's goalkeeper Baldomero Urbasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute Monroe Munoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Urbasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmanuel Corley in the 8th minute of play forced Santhiagos Feli Club's goalkeeper Baldomero Urbasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomero Urbasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emmanuel Corley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frankie Russell in the 10th minute of play forced Santhiagos Feli Club's goalkeeper Baldomero Urbasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Santhiagos Feli Club defense, Emmanuel Corley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomero Urbasa. The Santhiagos Feli Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomero Urbasa should have stopped the shot. Hal Mackey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Ganix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Eloy Maore came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Santhiagos Feli Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eloy Maore couldn't finish the play. Santhiagos Feli Club's Baldomero Urbasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmanuel Corley in the 24th minute of play. Eloy Maore struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Hal Mackey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santhiagos Feli Club. 41 minutes into the match, Santhiagos Feli Club's goal looked a bit too open when Garrett Brock came free, but Baldomero Urbasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute Emmanuel Corley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Urbasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emmanuel Corley to make the kick off. A collision led to Santhiagos Feli Club getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Julian Jacob hit a great ball. Baldomero Urbasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emmanuel Corley in the 53rd minute. Santhiagos Feli Club's Baldomero Urbasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frankie Russell in the 54th minute of play. Colby Saucedo hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Baldomero Urbasa made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Lionel Egan sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Baldomero Urbasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Western Springs FC's Hal Mackey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Ganix in the 79th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Santhiagos Feli Club's goalkeeper Baldomero Urbasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Garrett Brock. Santhiagos Feli Club's Julian Jacob managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Colby Saucedo in the 88 minute of the game. Hal Mackey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Ganix in the 89th minute of the match. Haroldo Eutor charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haroldo Eutor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd minute, Haroldo Eutor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 93 minutes, Garrett Brock managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Western Springs FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Garrett Brock was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
