Western Springs FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emmanuel Corley in the 9th minute. A nice corner shot did that Emmanuel Corley got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jedrzej Koprowski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hal Mackey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Berbiz in the 14th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, one of Western Springs FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
