In the 11th minute, Nordic Union's Tom Fernström seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tom Fernström the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Nordic Union protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tom Fernström had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nordic Union! Simon Ekman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 庄辉雄, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 21st minute 庄辉雄 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Ekman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Nordic Union fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Nordic Union's Tao Shi Fan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tao Shi Fan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 邱霖义 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Nordic Union's Simon Ekman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Milito in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Fredrik Söderquist made a precise shot to the right of 邱霖义. 【INTER】≮蓝黑≯国米万岁军's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 庄辉雄 in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simon Ekman saved Nordic Union from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Nordic Union made a substitution. Waldir Andrade replaced Ivar Billock. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 庄辉雄 to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by 张钢邦 in the 62nd minute of play forced Nordic Union's goalkeeper Simon Ekman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as 张钢邦 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Simon Ekman. That made the score 2-2 in the 64 minute of play. The corner led Nordic Union's Fredrik Söderquist to fire away a dangerous shot which 邱霖义 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Simon Ekman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 张钢邦 in the 71st minute of the match. 邱霖义 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tao Shi Fan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A well-hit corner resulted in Börje Stenquist heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Witomir Grabski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Simon Ekman made a huge save.
