After a rather tough play, Azul Y Plomo's Graziani Moranto got a free kick in the 12th minute. Zacarias Cabrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldir Andrade in the 15th minute of the match. Simon Ekman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Bobis in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Hector Bobis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simon Ekman. Nordic Union's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hector Bobis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. José Macías's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simon Ekman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Azul Y Plomo's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Billock came free, but Zacarias Cabrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hector Bobis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Azul Y Plomo's Zacarias Cabrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Ove Abrahamsson in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Azul Y Plomo booed when Nordic Union was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Azul Y Plomo's Hector Bobis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Simon Ekman. Simon Ekman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The audience was convinced that Hector Bobis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Simon Ekman was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Zacarias Cabrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivar Billock, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Waldir Andrade made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Hector Bobis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Simon Ekman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Simon Ekman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hector Bobis's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 60th minute Hector Bobis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Ekman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Hector Bobis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Azul Y Plomo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Azul Y Plomo's Latif Biçim was substituted for Teo Alberdi. Azul Y Plomo's Oswaldo Moran was substituted for Hector Bobis. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chiriboga Torres in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Ekman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Simon Ekman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiriboga Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Nordic Union's goal looked a bit too open when Oswaldo Moran came free, but Simon Ekman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Azul Y Plomo's Zacarias Cabrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir Andrade in the 80th minute of play. Nordic Union's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ivar Billock in the 81st minute. A nice corner shot did that Waldir Andrade got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zacarias Cabrero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 84th minute, Oswaldo Moran made a precise shot to the right of Simon Ekman. Nordic Union's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After a rather tough play, Azul Y Plomo's Felix Torres got a free kick in the 91st minute. Nordic Union's Simon Ekman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Latif Biçim in the 93rd minute of play. When Chiriboga Torres came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Azul Y Plomo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chiriboga Torres couldn't finish the play. Azul Y Plomo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
