It was a well-played corner which Takacs Tibor managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 84th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Victorio Rumaldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victorio Rumaldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Victorio Rumaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 94th minute of play. Major Barna might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victorio Rumaldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Major Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. The Hungary players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented INDEPENDIENTE from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
