Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Zac O'Donnell started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute Zac O'Donnell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Detlef Resch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zac O'Donnell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Kayden Ward had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 19 minutes, Robert McNeill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scotland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert McNeill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Detlef Resch came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Scotland's Fletcher Main. But to his dismay, Fletcher Main quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Detlef Resch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zac O'Donnell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ralf Schlesinger kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes Scotland got a freekick which was hit by Fletcher Main. Karsten Helmer succeeded in the game's 33rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Jaxson Russell lost his temper 41 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Scotland fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Altenmittlau a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Markus Göger, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Scotland's Alexander Higgins. 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Karsten Helmer made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Altenmittlau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerd Schiefer to maneuver through the defense. Alistair Morrison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Detlef Resch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fletcher Main got free with Detlef Resch in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alistair Morrison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Ayaan McGowan in the 82nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Altenmittlau's Gerd Schiefer. Laurenz Schur hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fletcher Main during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Scotland getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Fletcher Main hit a great ball. After 91 played minutes Altenmittlau got a freekick which was hit by Klaus Höfken. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fletcher Main got free with Detlef Resch in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Scotland players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
