In the 11th minute Sten Vallman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Placido Matro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Ramirez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Placido Matro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Haarald Sauna's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. LUPO f.c's Severo Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Vallman in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Ramirez in the 21st minute of play forced ATILA's goalkeeper Placido Matro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bernard Zecman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severo Neto was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Sten Vallman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sten Vallman really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. With an all-out effort, ATILA's Severo Neto threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sten Vallman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 28 minutes, Haarald Sauna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LUPO f.c's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haarald Sauna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Haarald Sauna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Placido Matro was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. With a little luck, LUPO f.c's Severo Neto got control of the ball when Genadi Kotrulev tried to sneak it across the goal line.
