After 36 played minutes Real Poll Vazo FC got a freekick which was hit by Xurxo Higuera. Denmark's Simon Bendtsen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by López Urruchua, made in the 39th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Real Poll Vazo FC's zone, Bertram Svenningsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wawrzyniec Kiszkiel came out of the goal and Bertram Svenningsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for German Gasca to strike the kick off in the second half. When Walter Cismado fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Poll Vazo FC's protests and gave Walter Cismado a yellow card for diving instead. Wawrzyniec Kiszkiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 70th minute of the match. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentim Lazo in the 72nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Chris Nygaard took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Wawrzyniec Kiszkiel to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Real Poll Vazo FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Pedro Divaichin hit a great ball. If Chris Nygaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Real Poll Vazo FC booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olav Graversen didn't get a good kick on the ball. When German Gasca came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Real Poll Vazo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that German Gasca couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Real Poll Vazo FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Valentim Lazo hit a great ball. In the 94th minute of the match Lars Steen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wawrzyniec Kiszkiel skillfully saved the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Real Poll Vazo FC could leave the field as winners, despite Denmark having more of the ball for most of the match.
