The supporters of Varsovia booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szekeres Tamas made in the 89th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Varsovia's Igor Dubiel. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Antoni Poremba in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Varsovia getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Stefan Niemojewski hit a great ball. After 94 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Antal Valentin. Hungary were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Varsovia to leave the ground with a draw.
