Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) France's Frank Peletier started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Gil Travassos notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of France's Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. France's David Barbier got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lovat SS's Túlio Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Peletier in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute Gil Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Gil Travassos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Maxime Durand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After taking down the ball on Lovat SS's corner Waut De Mare fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Maxime Durand quite easily take care of the ball. In the 22nd minute, Lovat SS's Waut De Mare dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Frank Peletier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Lovat SS defense, Frank Peletier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Túlio Peres. The Lovat SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Túlio Peres should have stopped the shot. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gil Travassos's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lovat SS's goalkeeper Túlio Peres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 43 minutes, Camille Baume mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the France and the Lovat SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Camille Baume hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Senna during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Lovat SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Senna to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Peletier in the 45th minute of play forced Lovat SS's goalkeeper Túlio Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Guto Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Waut De Mare made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Waut De Mare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waut De Mare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Maxime Durand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Waut De Mare took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Robert Chapuis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Peres having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Frank Peletier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Túlio Peres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Lovat SS's zone, Frank Peletier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Túlio Peres came out of the goal and Frank Peletier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Travassos in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lovat SS's Juan Senna got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute, France's Frank Peletier ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Túlio Peres. Túlio Peres yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-3. Antônio de Medeiros's late challenge caught a France's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antônio de Medeiros helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of France booed when Lovat SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antônio de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lovat SS's Gil Travassos in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye France's goalie prevented a goal. Frank Peletier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Túlio Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gil Travassos in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. When Lovat SS's Gil Travassos in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye France's goalie prevented a goal. Túlio Peres made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Frank Peletier sent off a good shot on target. Lovat SS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
