Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Russia's Parfen Babarykin in the 9th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Andrey Dvoryankin was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Arsenal F.C. through an amazing save. Andrey Savischev hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Andrey Dvoryankin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodion Nikitin in the 12th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Arsenal F.C.'s 洪泉挺 got a free kick in the 17th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Arsenal F.C.'s zone, Max Lunin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrey Dvoryankin came out of the goal and Max Lunin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Polikarp Miheev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrey Savischev, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Russia's goal looked a bit too open when Afanasiy Shefner came free, but Polikarp Miheev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arsenal F.C. were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Russia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Artem Savin took the corner. The audience was convinced that Arkhip Ilyin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Polikarp Miheev was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 35th match minute, Arsenal F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artem Savin to maneuver through the defense. If Arkhip Ilyin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrey Dvoryankin was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Parfen Babarykin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Parfen Babarykin really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. If Afanasiy Shefner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Russia's Leonid Bubnov was substituted for Lev Strizhenko. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arkhip Ilyin to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Arkhip Ilyin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Russia's Polikarp Miheev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. But to his dismay, Parfen Babarykin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Russia's zone, Arkhip Ilyin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Polikarp Miheev came out of the goal and Arkhip Ilyin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Russia had played much better football throughout.
