In the 36thth minute of the game Roberto Romário who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaviotas FC's Carlos Goyeneta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Faustão de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Di Vincenzo in the 40th minute of the match. Carlos Goyeneta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmond Boureau, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabiano Di Vincenzo was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Gaviotas FC booed when Ciseski‘s was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Romário didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute, Ciseski‘s's Salvador Caeiro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Salvador Caeiro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ciseski‘s protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Salvador Caeiro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ciseski‘s fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! Gaviotas FC's Leon Eguzki was substituted for Damian Musko. Ciseski‘s were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Gaviotas FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dé Recife took the corner. With a little luck, Ciseski‘s's Faustão de Moraes got control of the ball when Fabiano Di Vincenzo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabiano Di Vincenzo got free with Faustão de Moraes in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 69 minutes into the game, Fabiano Di Vincenzo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Faustão de Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carlos Goyeneta came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Ciseski‘s's Roberto Romário. But to his dismay, Roberto Romário quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. 83 minutes into the game, Clemente Claude cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Faustão de Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 86 minutes into the match, Ciseski‘s's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Di Vincenzo came free, but Faustão de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Goyeneta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Romário, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 94 minutes into the game, Fabiano Di Vincenzo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-6.
