Vitório Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geronimo Berenguer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaviotas FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Inocencio Patxi in the 10th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Taco Huizinga heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 13 played minutes FC Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Barbosa. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabiano Di Vincenzo in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vitório Goiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19thth minute of the game Fabiano Di Vincenzo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Barcelona's Vitório Goiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gaviotas FC's Fabiano Di Vincenzo got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Goyeneta acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 45th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gavin Giacomozzi. The FC Barcelona players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gaviotas FC were winning 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabiano Di Vincenzo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, FC Barcelona's Vitório Goiano got control of the ball when Fabiano Di Vincenzo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabiano Di Vincenzo in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. When Elroy Kolb came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the FC Barcelona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elroy Kolb couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Vitório Goiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabiano Di Vincenzo. Fabiano Di Vincenzo struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Vitório Goiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gaviotas FC. FC Barcelona's Vitório Goiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save FC Barcelona from getting a goal against them. Enzo Julian made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 81stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Vitório Goiano would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Ignacio Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inocencio Patxi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitório Goiano having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Vitório Goiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabiano Di Vincenzo. Gaviotas FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
