The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wawrzyniec Brytan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Berenguer in the 5th minute of play. Carlos Goyeneta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michal Karp's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. After some careless play in the KS Junior defense, Fabiano Di Vincenzo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wawrzyniec Brytan. The KS Junior fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wawrzyniec Brytan should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Gaviotas FC's Fabiano Di Vincenzo got a free kick in the 15th minute. Carlos Goyeneta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Mohora in the 18th minute of the match. Wawrzyniec Brytan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Berenguer, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Fabiano Di Vincenzo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Wawrzyniec Brytan made a huge save. Wawrzyniec Brytan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Berenguer, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabiano Di Vincenzo to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristian Mohora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Carlos Goyeneta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gaviotas FC's goalkeeper Carlos Goyeneta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wawrzyniec Brytan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Berenguer in the 64th minute of play. Gaviotas FC's Carlos Goyeneta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Gaviotas FC from getting a goal against them. 70 minutes into the match, KS Junior's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Di Vincenzo came free, but Wawrzyniec Brytan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
