In the 17th minute, Alexandros Peropoulos made a precise shot to the right of Nereo Raymon. Papulote FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 23 minutes of play, Barrialito AFC's Alexandros Peropoulos made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The Papulote FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nereo Raymon should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnoldo Gonzo was the one to do the kick off. Nereo Raymon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Slawomir Witkowski in the 52nd minute of play. With his leg Nereo Raymon managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Barrialito AFC's Gogo Tino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandros Peropoulos in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nereo Raymon saved Papulote FC from getting behind. Nereo Raymon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandros Peropoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Slawomir Witkowski sped through Papulote FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nereo Raymon. Alexandros Peropoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nereo Raymon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Papulote FC's Nereo Raymon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Papulote FC from getting a goal against them. Barrialito AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Miroslav Klöser in the 83rd minute. Barrialito AFC's Miroslav Klöser was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nereo Raymon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Miroslav Klöser could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Nereo Raymon made a huge save. 91 minutes into the game, Barrialito AFC's Alexandros Peropoulos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nereo Raymon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. The Papulote FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Barrialito AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
