After a defensive mix-up in Papulote FC's zone, Benny Niva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Raymon came out of the goal and Benny Niva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Papulote FC's Nereo Raymon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Papulote FC from getting a goal against them. Benny Niva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nereo Raymon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Benny Niva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Celta de Virgos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benny Niva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th match minute, Papulote FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Rozarius to maneuver through the defense. Benny Niva's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Nereo Raymon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benny Niva in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nereo Raymon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benny Niva might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nereo Raymon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benny Niva ran back to his position shaking his head. Hector Oton kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Papulote FC's Nereo Raymon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benny Niva in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Dündar Aynacıoğlu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nereo Raymon. Dündar Aynacıoğlu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Nereo Raymon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dündar Aynacıoğlu in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Alexis Sanchez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benny Niva took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nereo Raymon. Nereo Raymon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnoldo Gonzo to make the kick off. Bernardino Rosio placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Nereo Raymon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benny Niva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Celta de Virgos's Benny Niva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nereo Raymon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 59 minutes into the game, Celta de Virgos's Bernardino Rosio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nereo Raymon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Celta de Virgos's David Astudillo was substituted for Benny Niva. Celta de Virgos made a substitution. Dario Elivareo replaced Ruben Gomez. After 64 played minutes Papulote FC got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Eztebe. In the 66th minute David Astudillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Raymon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nereo Raymon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Astudillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Hector Oton fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Papulote FC's protests and gave Hector Oton a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute, Hector Oton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, David Astudillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nereo Raymon was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 77 minutes into the match, David Astudillo notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Papulote FC's Nereo Raymon. Nereo Raymon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 80th minute, David Astudillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nereo Raymon was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. 86 minutes into the game, Filiberto Eztebe threw the ball into play from the sideline. Celta de Virgos's Alexis Sanchez quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Papulote FC's Nereo Raymon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Astudillo in the 88th minute of play. After 90th play minutes David Astudillo shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Nereo Raymon and just under the crossbar into goal. Nereo Raymon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Astudillo went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. In the 99th minute, David Astudillo had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Florencio Gonzo charged in rather forcefully in the 99th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florencio Gonzo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 99 minutes into the game, one of Papulote FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
