Bernardinho Pires went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 23rd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mathias Albuquerque during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mathias Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 43rd match minute, GUARANI E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vito Bastos to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, GUARANI E.C.'s Tommy Kahn threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vito Bastos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albin Holweck to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, GUARANI E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Cardozo to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betão Netto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GUARANI E.C.'s Anderson Seco was substituted for Vicente Paraense. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Albin Holweck took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for João Augusto Terra to make any attempt to save it. GUARANI E.C.'s Pedro Mattos was substituted for Vito Bastos. In the 66th minute, Betão Netto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of GUARANI E.C. booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Betão Netto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. In the 79th minute, one of Germany:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Germany. If Betão Netto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, GUARANI E.C.'s Bernardinho Pires got a free kick in the 86th minute. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. In the 96th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 97 minutes, Betão Netto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GUARANI E.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Betão Netto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Germany played a much better game than GUARANI E.C. and deserved their victory. The GUARANI E.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
