The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Bulltofta BB defense, Julien Marxer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ingvar Kvist. The Bulltofta BB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ingvar Kvist should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute Julien Marxer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Kvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eddy Moser struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Ingvar Kvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ. Ingvar Kvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julien Marxer, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Etienne Ritzberger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Bulltofta BB's Paul Billock got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 28 minutes, Kaj Hybbert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bulltofta BB and the ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bulltofta BB's Kaj Hybbert got a free kick in the 28th minute. Ingvar Kvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julien Marxer's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. If Eddy Moser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's goalkeeper Matthias Meliti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henning Karlsson. In the 36thth minute of the game Julien Marxer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bulltofta BB's Ingvar Kvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Etienne Ritzberger got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Eddy Moser got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ingvar Kvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julien Marxer in the 46th minute of the match. Eddy Moser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Kvist having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in Bulltofta BB's zone, Julien Marxer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingvar Kvist came out of the goal and Julien Marxer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julien Marxer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingvar Kvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julien Marxer in the 67th minute. Kurt Asplund charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kurt Asplund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Bulltofta BB got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Asplund. Julien Marxer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ingvar Kvist having to make a save. Eddy Moser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Kvist having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julien Marxer in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ingvar Kvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dominik Ritter kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Julien Marxer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Julien Marxer notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Bulltofta BB's Ingvar Kvist. Ingvar Kvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julien Marxer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Kvist having to interfere. A hard shot 91 in the game by Julien Marxer from a close distance when the talented Ingvar Kvist managed to make a qualified save. Bulltofta BB's players were relieved. ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
