Desiderio Amato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julien Marxer in the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's goalkeeper Matthias Meliti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Bernd Heid hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Julien Marxer notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Snake FC's Desiderio Amato. Desiderio Amato was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Lukas Brunhardt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 33 played minutes ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ got a freekick which was hit by Srdan Richter. Lukas Brunhardt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th match minute, Snake FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godfredo Cresenciano to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukas Brunhardt in the 39th minute of play forced Snake FC's goalkeeper Desiderio Amato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 played minutes Snake FC got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Urre. In the 42ndth minute of the game Julien Marxer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Snake FC's Desiderio Amato was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddy Moser in the 43rd minute of play forced Snake FC's goalkeeper Desiderio Amato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Snake FC's Desiderio Amato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Brunhardt in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Julien Marxer made the kick off in the second half. Julien Marxer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Desiderio Amato having to make a save. In the last second Desiderio Amato throw himself and got hold of the ball when Dominik Ritter in the 56thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After a rather tough play, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Srdan Richter got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Desiderio Amato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukas Brunhardt in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Julien Marxer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Desiderio Amato was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Gonzalo Anaya hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Snake FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lukas Brunhardt came free, but Desiderio Amato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Julien Marxer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Amato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Julien Marxer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Desiderio Amato. That made the score 0-3 after 82 minutes of play. Snake FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Eddy Moser scored to the left of an out of position Desiderio Amato, making the score, 0-4. In the 89th minute of the match Gonzalo Anaya shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matthias Meliti showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Desiderio Amato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julien Marxer in the 93rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Snake FC defense, Julien Marxer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Desiderio Amato. The Snake FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Desiderio Amato should have stopped the shot. The Snake FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
