René Batum started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eloy Elija during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 2nd match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Elija to maneuver through the defense. Erwin Heerspink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Desiderio Frederik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Candido Joseph managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leones FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Candido Joseph was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronald Kip breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Leones FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Fabricio Rivero hit a great ball. After 15 minutes, Fulgencio Inko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leones FC and the Pannekoeken players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Leones FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! In the 18th minute, Eloy Elija made a precise shot to the right of Ronald Kip. Pannekoeken's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With an all-out effort, Pannekoeken's Desiderio Frederik threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from René Batum, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ton Rijkaard took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Desiderio Frederik. Desiderio Frederik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Desiderio Frederik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from René Batum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Candido Joseph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, René Batum reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Desiderio Frederik. The goal made the score 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Tabor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leones FC's Desiderio Frederik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by René Batum in the 52nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute Olof Trenning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Frederik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Desiderio Frederik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from René Batum in the 68th minute of the match. Desiderio Frederik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olof Trenning in the 69th minute of play. Olof Trenning kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Desiderio Frederik came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pannekoeken's René Batum. But to his dismay, René Batum quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 80th minute, René Batum ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Desiderio Frederik was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. In the 84th minute of the match, Ciriaco Bernal got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ronald Kip was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Pannekoeken's Olof Trenning got a free kick in the 84th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Olof Trenning came free, but Desiderio Frederik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Pannekoeken's René Batum in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Leones FC's goalie prevented a goal. René Batum scored 6-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Desiderio Frederik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pannekoeken's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
