The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, KS Bozywerek's Antoni Marchlewicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vince Bannatyne narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, KS Bozywerek's Jedrzej Nakonieczny got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 13th minute Gwidon Derlanga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vince Bannatyne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gwidon Derlanga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vince Bannatyne having to interfere. Albert King struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Wincent Cisek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crystal Phallus. In the 23rd minute, Gwidon Derlanga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute, Calvin Dunning hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brett Pye-Finch got free with Wincent Cisek in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Jedrzej Nakonieczny came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the KS Bozywerek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jedrzej Nakonieczny couldn't finish the play. Vince Bannatyne stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norbert Patrylo's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. After 44 minutes of play, KS Bozywerek's Gwidon Derlanga made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vince Bannatyne was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Albert King to make the kick off. When Gwidon Derlanga fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KS Bozywerek's protests and gave Gwidon Derlanga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd match minute, KS Bozywerek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwidon Derlanga to maneuver through the defense. After 62 minutes, Philip French mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crystal Phallus and the KS Bozywerek players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of KS Bozywerek booed when Crystal Phallus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philip French didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Derlanga in the 66th minute of play forced Crystal Phallus's goalkeeper Vince Bannatyne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in KS Bozywerek's zone, Albert King stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wincent Cisek came out of the goal and Albert King tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 69 minutes into the match, Crystal Phallus's goal looked a bit too open when Gwidon Derlanga came free, but Vince Bannatyne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Albert King's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wincent Cisek was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Wincent Cisek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albert King's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Gwidon Derlanga took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vince Bannatyne. Vince Bannatyne dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When the match was over KS Bozywerek could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Crystal Phallus throughout the match.
