Elco Saenen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Pannekoeken's goalkeeper Ronald Kip had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baldomiro Oliverios. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casimiro Lopez got free with Ronald Kip in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ildefonso Ortle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomiro Oliverios who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Ronald Kip when he managed to save the team from getting behind. René Batum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Luke having to interfere. Pannekoeken were furious when Ron van den Akker was red carded, 26 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 25th minute, one of Pannekoeken:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pannekoeken. Pannekoeken:s Ronald Kip showed great skill when he stopped Baldomiro Oliverios:s penalty. After a rather tough play, Gaviotas FC's Sebastian Gimenez got a free kick in the 35th minute. Nick van den Eede charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nick van den Eede the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 played minutes Pannekoeken got a freekick which was hit by Nick van den Eede. 40 minutes into the game, Baldomiro Oliverios cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ronald Kip was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Olof Trenning hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Lukas Dilling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Baldomiro Oliverios came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Gaviotas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomiro Oliverios couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Lukas Dilling made the kick off in the second half. If Rafael Hilberts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute Baldomiro Oliverios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronald Kip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 minutes Pannekoeken's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Casimiro Lopez who took care of the corner kick. Ronald Kip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Ortle in the 57th minute of play. When Casimiro Lopez fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gaviotas FC's protests and gave Casimiro Lopez a yellow card for diving instead. Casimiro Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Pannekoeken's Ronald Kip played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Oliverios in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute Rodolfo Ursino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronald Kip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomiro Oliverios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronald Kip took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Ursino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gaviotas FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pannekoeken had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
