Matthias Meliti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Oliverios in the 22nd minute of play. If Julien Marxer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julien Marxer struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Pedro Asur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Julien Marxer managed to get in a good position for a shot. ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's supporters rose to their feet, but Julien Marxer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Asur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes into the match, Lukas Brunhardt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Asur. Gaviotas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lukas Brunhardt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Jerico made a kick off. A collision led to ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pedro Asur, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Gaviotas FC's zone, Julien Marxer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Asur came out of the goal and Julien Marxer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ildefonso Ortle hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After 92 played minutes ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ got a freekick which was hit by Dominik Ritter. Matthias Meliti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Ortle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Etienne Ritzberger's late challenge caught a Gaviotas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Etienne Ritzberger helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Etienne Ritzberger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Gaviotas FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
