The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Przełęcz Dukla's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Oliverios came free, but Norbert Pietrasz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Przełęcz Dukla's Herbert Sowa got a free kick in the 7th minute. Pedro Asur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Slawomir Rutecki's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Zachary Bubczyk hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Przełęcz Dukla defense, Jaime Jerico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norbert Pietrasz. The Przełęcz Dukla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norbert Pietrasz should have stopped the shot. In the 20th minute, Robert Gejda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Przełęcz Dukla's Norbert Pietrasz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Jerico in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Gaviotas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Oliverios to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Artur Mikulski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 played minutes Przełęcz Dukla got a freekick which was hit by Barnaba Wejta. The supporters of Gaviotas FC booed when Przełęcz Dukla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrzej Pacholewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner ended in Gaston Gudesteo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Przełęcz Dukla's Norbert Pietrasz did a great save. Pedro Asur made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Cyprian Dembowski sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Gaviotas FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Jerico made a kick off. Jaime Jerico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Norbert Pietrasz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaime Jerico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norbert Pietrasz having to interfere. Gaviotas FC made a substitution. Isidro Vimaro replaced Fabricio Jakobe. If Cyprian Dembowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norbert Pietrasz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Jerico in the 71st minute. Patricio Oriol hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The supporters of Przełęcz Dukla booed when Gaviotas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Gudesteo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Przełęcz Dukla's Artur Mikulski got a free kick in the 81st minute. Norbert Pietrasz made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Jaime Jerico sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Jaime Jerico kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Norbert Pietrasz. That made the score 0-2 in the 82 minute of play. Cyprian Dembowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Asur having to interfere. The Gaviotas FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gaviotas FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
