Roberto Rodriguez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Canor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. If Mario Alberto Abascal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Sture Raknes kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After 60 minutes AC ALDO BONZI's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner.
