Rene Airess short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Pompiliu Murgescu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ion Moscu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Okanalp Öksal having to make a save. Pompiliu Murgescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Aires in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match Loco De Remate got a corner. AVANTUL PETRICANI's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leandro Virila ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Loco De Remate's corner Leandro Virila fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pompiliu Murgescu quite easily take care of the ball. Pompiliu Murgescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Aires, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. If Rene Aires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. AVANTUL PETRICANI's Pompiliu Murgescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Aires in the 43rd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rene Aires made a kick off. Okanalp Öksal had great luck who in the 53rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Ion Moscu from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 58 minutes, Jan-Willem Adams mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AVANTUL PETRICANI and the Loco De Remate players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Loco De Remate booed when AVANTUL PETRICANI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Willem Adams didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute Baškim Sumulikovski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pompiliu Murgescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
