The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roman Riquelme during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rene Aires scored 1-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Denis Paulin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Aires in the 28th minute of play forced Defensores de Lombroso's goalkeeper Denis Paulin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Okanalp Öksal managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Defensores de Lombroso's Celso Sauveur fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 95thth minute of the game Clodoveo Christobal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Defensores de Lombroso's Denis Paulin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 97th minute of the match Loco De Remate got a corner. Defensores de Lombroso's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leandro Virila ran over to the corner to take the kick.
