Cristian Vieri might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hias Nüssli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Vieri ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th minute, Timo Siegmund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alessandro Altobelli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hias Nüssli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Hias Nüssli made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Cristian Vieri sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 19 minutes, Bernardo Soldatino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viper FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Soldatino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacinto Maurer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Parampal Paracuellos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hias Nüssli didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Viper FC's Cristian Vieri shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Altobelli in the 42nd minute of play forced Switzerland's goalkeeper Hias Nüssli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Cristian Vieri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viper FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Vieri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 47 in the game by Cristian Vieri from a close distance when the talented Hias Nüssli managed to make a qualified save. Switzerland's players were relieved. In the 47th match minute, Switzerland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo von Känel to maneuver through the defense. When Cristian Vieri came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Viper FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Vieri couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristian Vieri made a kick off. Cristian Vieri struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Hias Nüssli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viper FC. 58 minutes into the match, Viper FC's goalkeeper Parampal Paracuellos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuele Kunz. 59 minutes into the match, Alessandro Altobelli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hias Nüssli. Switzerland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alessandro Altobelli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 62 minutes of play, Viper FC's Roberto Mancini made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hias Nüssli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Switzerland's Hias Nüssli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Vieri in the 65th minute of play. Hias Nüssli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Vieri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cristian Vieri came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Viper FC fans jumped to their feet. The audience was convinced that Cristian Vieri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hias Nüssli was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. The Viper FC fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Viper FC's Cristian Vieri looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cristian Vieri took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hias Nüssli. Hias Nüssli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. In the 87th minute Cristian Vieri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hias Nüssli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Rodrigo von Känel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 91st play minutes Cristian Vieri shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Hias Nüssli and just under the crossbar into goal. Hias Nüssli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinando Di Loreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
