A throw-in in the 9th minute of the game was made by Jean Bombelles with Robert Chapuis as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a defensive mix-up in France's zone, Richard Ahlkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maxime Durand came out of the goal and Richard Ahlkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the game, Richard Ahlkvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maxime Durand. Richard Ahlkvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, France's Jean Bombelles got a free kick in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Richard Ahlkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maxime Durand. France's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Richard Ahlkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 30 minutes into the game, Jean Bombelles threw the ball into play from the sideline. Bajens Lirare BK's Jens-Åke Mellin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jean Bombelles made in the 34th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Frank Peletier immediately put the ball in play. France's attentive Remy Dupuy managed to snatch the ball when Jack Sigman made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Richard Ahlkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxime Durand was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Maximilian Sandberg made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by France's Jean Bombelles. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Ahlkvist in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rdth minute of the game Richard Ahlkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but France's Maxime Durand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 54 minutes in the game Jean Bombelles did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Robert Chapuis. Jean Bombelles made in the 61st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Robert Chapuis immediately put the ball in play. David Barbier charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Barbier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. David Barbier hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute Nils-Emil Pedersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Richard Ahlkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Bajens Lirare BK's Richard Ahlkvist in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. France may have spent more time on the ball, but Bajens Lirare BK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
