With a little luck, 【E ➣15 de Julio 2009's Marta Pressley got control of the ball when Cornelio Ruisko tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes in the game Roque Etor did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kraig Fred. In the 28th match minute, 【E ➣15 de Julio 2009 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Caniggia to maneuver through the defense. In the 32ndth minute of the game Kraig Fred who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 【E ➣15 de Julio 2009's Marta Pressley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 36 minutes Estudiantes de América's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Claudio Caniggia who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Claudio Caniggia got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcos Ranolfo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cornelio Ruisko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marta Pressley having to interfere. Marcos Ranolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Romo in the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute Dong Kun Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Ranolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Estudiantes de América defense, Dong Kun Yang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Ranolfo. The Estudiantes de América fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Ranolfo should have stopped the shot. 【E ➣15 de Julio 2009's Marta Pressley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kraig Fred in the 59th minute of play. Dong Kun Yang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Ranolfo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as 【E ➣15 de Julio 2009's Dong Kun Yang slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcos Ranolfo. That made the score 1-2 after 62 minutes of play. Estudiantes de América's Traian Blăniță was substituted for Cornelio Ruisko. Marcos Ranolfo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dong Kun Yang showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 68 minute of play. 【E ➣15 de Julio 2009's Hugo Bela was substituted for Dong Kun Yang. A sloppy throw-in by Prospero Gabirel in the 73rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by 【E ➣15 de Julio 2009's Claudio Caniggia. 82 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's Concetto Trasatti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marta Pressley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Estudiantes de América booed when 【E ➣15 de Julio 2009 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Oso didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Hugo Bela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcos Ranolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Bela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marta Pressley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Beltza, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Marcos Ranolfo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Bela in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the game, Traian Blăniță cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Marta Pressley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The 【E ➣15 de Julio 2009 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing 【E ➣15 de Julio 2009 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
