Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Kyle Thake started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mats Sangolt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 5 minutes into the game, Frank Peletier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. France's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Floriana Celtics the free kick. Frank Peletier kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. With a little luck, France's Maxime Durand got control of the ball when Edward Ellis tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 11 minutes France's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Godwin Montesin who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Alex Testaferrata Viani to score against Maxime Durand in France's goal. 1-0 after 12 minutes. Remy Dupuy kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. France's Maxime Durand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save France from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kyle Thake in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. Camille Baume received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Mats Sangolt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 played minutes Giorgio Caruana rounded France's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Edward Ellis came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Maxime Durand could save by the left post. With an all-out effort, Floriana Celtics's Maxime Durand threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kyle Thake, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 36th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexis Bruneau to maneuver through the defense. Edward Ellis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, France's Maxime Durand got control of the ball when Edward Ellis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maxime Durand was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edward Ellis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 39 minute of play. Edward Ellis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Maxime Durand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The wind increased when Frank Peletier made the kick off in the second half. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Thake in the 51st minute of play. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Remy Dupuy advanced and headed the ball into goal, 3-1 in the 67th minute. After some careless play in the France defense, Miguel Piscopo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maxime Durand. The France fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maxime Durand should have stopped the shot. In the 77thth minute of the game Miguel Piscopo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but France's Maxime Durand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Floriana Celtics's Mats Sangolt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Floriana Celtics from getting a goal against them. Floriana Celtics's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
