Aykut Canel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Loramendi Cabarcos made a huge save. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anísio Queirós made a kick off. RIO DE JANEIRO's Izel Carrion was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 93rd minute, Izel Carrion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Joel Campos managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.A. Francana's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Campos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Loramendi Cabarcos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A.A. Francana's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
